Marsaskala Local Council has announced that the temporary shuttle bus service currently operating for Routes 92 and 124 will be discontinued. The shuttle service had been introduced due to the condition of certain roads following the recent storm, ensuring continued public transport connectivity in the area.
The Council confirmed that as from Thursday, 19th February 2026, the scheduled public transport services for Routes 92 and 124 will resume their prescribed routes. This means that buses will once again operate along their normal routes without the need for the temporary shuttle arrangement.
Commuters are advised that the last day of operation for the temporary shuttle bus service will be Wednesday, 18th February 2026. From the following day, passengers using these routes should follow the regular bus schedules and stops as previously established.
The Local Council thanked residents and commuters for their cooperation and understanding during the period in which the temporary measures were in place. The shuttle service had been implemented as a precautionary response to road conditions caused by the recent storm.
Residents are encouraged to take note of the changes and plan their journeys accordingly as normal service resumes later this week.
