Marsaskala Local Council, together with the Malta–China Friendship Association, the Chinese Cultural Centre and the Chinese Embassy in Malta, organised a cultural performance for students in collaboration with the Head of St Joachim Primary School.
The event featured a group of dancers and singers from the Tourism Department of the Xizang Autonomous Region, who travelled to Malta on the occasion of the Chinese New Year. The performance was described as spectacular, offering students the opportunity to experience traditional Chinese music and dance firsthand.

The initiative was made possible through the cooperation of several entities, with the Local Council working closely with its partners to host the visiting delegation. The cultural show formed part of activities linked to the Chinese New Year celebrations and aimed to promote cultural exchange between Malta and China.
A note of appreciation was extended to the Head of St Joachim Primary School and her assistants for their collaboration and support in organising the event for students. The performance was well received and provided an engaging cultural experience for those in attendance.
